Bangalore based algorithmic trading platform Streak has bagged a $1 million pre-Series A capital led by TV Mohandas Pai promoted 3one4Capital. The round saw participation from existing investor Rainmatter Capital which had infused capital during the seed round last year.
Founded in 2017 by Harsha M, Jayalakshmi Manohar and Vipul Divyanshu, the platform helps traders create, backtest and deploy trading algorithms live in the stock market without having to do any sort of coding.
The freshly raised funds will help the company grow its team, work on the roadmap of the product development and scale up its user base. The company has currently more than 1.5 lac users who have performed more than 13 million strategies which have helped them generate more than $300 million transaction value. Users can trade in all securities in the National Stock Exchange, currencies and MCX Commodities using the platform.
Pranav Pai, the founding partner at the firm talking about the funding said, “With a rush of retail investors into financial markets, the need is to empower every individual investor with the tools to generate optimal returns. The Streak team has used its deep product experience to bring institutional-grade strategy development to the everyday investor.”
The founders through a statement said, “Identifying trading opportunities in real time and not having to track positions manually, across segments, has given our users an extra edge. Technical indicators, that were mere formulae, are now being used to create meaningful trading strategies and techniques that put Indian retail investors on par with global standards.”
